“Familiar Friends – New Fields”
The Quad Cities has been honored to host the ISC Men’s Fastball World Tournament 15 times in the last 75 years, and the 2021 will be played in a venue that is new to ISC and renewed for the community.
The 2021 tournament at Sheridan Meadows Park in Eldridge, IA. The park has natural appeal for players and fans, offering multiple fields in one location, lots of shade, and a small town atmosphere that is perfect for an ISC World Tournament.
Visit Quad Cities staff, along with the Mayor of Eldridge, City Administrator, Park Board President, and key city staff members shared our vision to host 2021 here with ISC commissioners in the heart of winter.
Since then, this expanded local organizing committee has been focused on delivering on our commitment to ISC to provide an amazing championship atmosphere for the 75th ISC Fastball Men’s World Tournament.
The entire community is rallying and supporting the role of hosting our ISC friends!
Dedicated city staff have been working on the fields since the snow melted to make improvements and enhancements that will transform them into your championship diamonds.
We are happy to report that the project is ahead of schedule. The end result will be an amazing experience for ISC and a community legacy project for local youth play and the ability to attract more tournaments in the future. It’s a win/win and we are looking forward to hosting ISC commissioners, teams, umpires and fans this summer.
