Quad Cities – The International Softball Congress is excited to celebrate its Platinum Anniversary in 2016 by staging the 70th Annual ISC Men’s Fastball World Tournament in Quad Cities, Iowa-Illinois from Friday, August 12 through Saturday, August 20, 2016.

“We’re extremely happy to be celebrating our 70th Anniversary in Quad Cities, where they have treated us so extraordinarily well,” said Larry Fisher, Executive Director of the International Softball Congress (ISC).

“The Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau plans to help ISC celebrate their 70th anniversary in style”, says Lynn Hunt, VP of Sales. “Since we last hosted in 2013, The City of Moline has installed new state of the art Musco Lighting on the fields at the Milt Hand Softball Complex. The internet capabilities are also upgraded at Green Valley Sports Complex. The food vendors are already asking about being there to make sure the ISC fans and players have a great experience over the nine days of the tournament! ISC fans travel very well, and we want to make sure they are taken care of and enjoy the fastpitch game at its finest.”

This will be the 14th time that the Quad Cities area has hosted the ISC World Tournament, starting with nine straight from 1961-1969 and again in 1973 in Rock Island followed by recent visits to Moline in 2009, 2011 and 2013.

In addition to the ISC World Tournament, teams will also compete in the ISC II bracket as well as the 50+ Legends and U21 Youth divisions.

The ISC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting men’s and youth fastpitch softball and is on the web at http://www.iscfastpitch.com/

South Bend, IN – On the heels of a highly successful ISC Hall of Fame Breakfast Ceremony orchestrated under the leadership of John Thompson, we are pleased to share the well-received program, including all scribed content, full color photographs and biographies of each inductee.

The 2015 Hall of Fame Breakfast was held in the ballroom of the Waterford Estates Lodge in South Bend and was completely sold out, with organizers having to add additional tables to handle the overflow crowd.

As always, the ISC offers congratulations to all the inductees. The ceremony itself was one that no one will forget with family, close friends and teammates all present to share in the great accomplishments, accolades and even a few tears.

We also thank Hall of Fame Breakfast Chair John Thompson, who every year finds a way to make this event better and better.

The pdf file located in Dropbox at the link below is very large file so we ask for your patience in opening it. We think it’s worth the wait!
