June 8, 2018  –  Frankenmuth, MI Heritage Park is the site of this years tournament, for 12 – 14 – 16 – 18 and 21 and under age categories.  Last years champions were Frankenmuth Grasel Graphics in the 14 and under and Kitchener Waterloo Twins in the 18 and under division.

The entry fee is $325 American.  We are hoping to have more interest this year because of the opportunity to represent the United States or Canada in the world games which will take place every two years now.

We are looking for teams, as well as individuals from across the countries that would like to be introduced to this great game.

The tournament is being played during the first weekend in August, the 2nd through the 4th.  This is the dead period for all high school sports in Michigan at this time.  We are hoping some baseball coaches may involve their players or the entire team.

Any pitchers, or players from across the countries that may be interested in playing, please feel free to email me.  Thank you in advance, and if you would like to see some of the players involved in this great game, you can get a taste of it being streamed at the World Tournament being held in Prague, later this month.  Gary Compau will share the information on that also.

Thank you,

May 28, 2019  –  Mississauga, ON – Riding high on their dominating run to their first ISC World Tournament Championship last year, the New York Gremlins are the unanimous choice as the #1 team to start the 2019 fastball season.

November 1, 2018 – Denmark, WI –  The Boys of Summer Open is looking to expand to 16 teams in 2019.  We have received a lot of interest from teams that have not previously attended and would like to accommodate 16 teams this year instead of 12.  We ran the tournament with 16 for several years before scaling back.  The tournament will be held at the host sites for the 2019 ISC World Tournament.  The dates are July 12-14, 2019.  The Circle Tap diamond will be the main diamond and the two diamonds in the Village of Denmark Memorial Park will serve as the two others.  We have used these diamonds several years ago and are thrilled to be back.   They are much improved and have new scoreboards and regulation fastpitch size.  All three diamonds have permanent fencing which we believe everyone will appreciate.  The entry fee is $200 as it has been since 2001 when the tournament started.  Here is the list of committed teams and there are a couple of others that have expressed interest:
