On Sunday August 14, 2022, the International Softball Congress  will host its annual Hall of Fame Breakfast and Induction Ceremony at The TaxSlayer Centre, 1201 River Drive in Moline, IL.


The Class of 2022 induction will be held as part of the ISC World Tournament and build on the successes of the previous Hall of Fame celebrations that have been held annually since the initial induction in 1965. This is the 16th time that the event will be hosted in the Quad Cities region.


The 2022 inductees are: Darren Box, Rhys Casley, Bob McGowan, Gerald Muizelaar, Travis Wilson and Ryan Wolfe.

 

Doors will open at 7:30 am, with breakfast at 8 am and the program and inductions at 9:45 am. The event will adjourn at 11:30 am, in advance of Sunday's games scheduled to start at 1pm.

Tickets, $25 each, and/or reserved tables of eight (8) for $175, may be purchased by contacting Breakfast Event Chair John Thompson at (519-884-4050). Ticket request deadline is Friday August 5.

Men's fastpitch softball will be one of the featured sports at this year's Masters Indigenous Games being held in Ottawa, ON August 14-17. The Masters Indigenous Games (MIG) provides Indigenous adults, aged 20 years and older, the opportunity to compete against their peers in a variety of contemporary and traditional sporting activities. MIG is an opportunity to get physically active, engage with community and participate in competition. The Games bring together thousands of Indigenous athletes from around the world to compete in sport competitions, celebrate Indigenous wellness and showcase the rich diversity of cultures and traditions of the world’s Indigenous Peoples.
