The ISC’s Carrol Forbes Foundation co-sponsored a pitching clinic in Denmark, WI at the annual Boys of Summer tournament July 10-12, helping to evaluate talent for the upcoming U23 Men’s Softball World Cup.
Conducted in conjunction with co-sponsors USA Softball, the clinic included instruction for 13 pitchers, all of whom are looking to further develop their skills.
Among the talents on hand, some will be pitching in the ISC World Tournament in August, including: Cody Gibbons – Marchio Sausage Company, St Paul MN, Bryce Tekulve – Circle Tap Dukes, Denmark WI, Brad Kilpatrick – Ashland A’s, Ashland OH
Pitching instructors were Collin Hopkins and Brent Stevenson. USA Softball’s U23 Men’s Head Coach Tim Lyons was also in attendance.
“We are excited to see the growth in these pitchers as they begin their softball careers, and we look forward to welcoming them to the ISC World Tournament in August in Eldridge, IA,” commented Carrol Forbes Foundation committee chair Greg Nydick.
Tournament directors, coaches or leagues that want to conduct pitching clinics and are looking for funding are encouraged to apply to the CFF and should contact Greg at firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration.
