At Sunset Park in Wisconsin, the Kimberly Recreation Association hosted a high-stakes tournament featuring elite regional talent and plenty of drama.

Saturday Pool Play (June 6)

The Madison Bar Blues opened up Saturday looking like the team to beat, securing back-to-back blowout shutouts:

  • Blues 7, Dolan 0 (WP: Cristian Pacheco | LP: Enrique Rodriguez)
  • Blues 11, Bar DCP 0 (WP: Matt Stuhr | LP: William Sanchez)

In Pool B, things got wild. The Kegel Black Knights started strong with a 3-1 win over Wabash Pride (WP: Zach Pierce), but were immediately thrown into a slugfest against Bar Buzz. Bar Buzz walked away with a thrilling 10-9 victory (WP: Joel Goodall | LP: Michael Jamieson). Bar Buzz kept their foot on the gas later in the afternoon, overpowering Dolan and Murphy 11-4 behind the pitching of Mike Skora.

Championship Sunday (June 7)

Sunday’s single-elimination bracket flipped the script, culminating in a dramatic showdown between the weekend’s two top offenses.

  • The Semifinals: In the early morning games, Wabash Pride bounced the Bar Blues with a stunning shutout, while Dolan and Murphy snuck past Bar DCP. However, the top seeds awaited them at 11:00 AM. Bar Buzz handily took care of Wabash Pride, and the Kegel Black Knights blanked Dolan to set up a highly anticipated rematch in the finals.
  • The Final: In a complete defensive reversal from Saturday’s 10-9 high-scoring affair, the Kegel Black Knights exacted sweet revenge on the Lower Diamond. Kegel shut down the red-hot Bar Buzz offense, cruising to an 11-0 victory to claim the 2026 Jack Grafmeier Memorial Tournament Championship!
