Seattle Dirt Dogs Dominate the 2nd Annual Clark Evans Memorial
The road to the 2026 ISC World Tournament rolled through Newberg, Oregon last weekend, as the 2nd Annual Clark Evans Memorial Tournament took over the Darnell Wright Softball Complex from May 23–24.
The weekend belonged entirely to the Seattle Dirt Dogs, who put on an absolute clinic in Pool A. Going undefeated across the tournament, the Dirt Dogs showcased an explosive offense and shutting down opposing lineups at every turn. They capped off their flawless weekend with a commanding 7-0 shutout victory over the Westside Jacks in the final on Sunday afternoon.
The NW Braves U23 team showed incredible grit competing against seasoned rosters. While they ran into a buzzsaw against the high-powered Dirt Dogs and dropped decisions to the Westside Jacks and K-Club, the young squad picked up valuable reps on the big stage as they continue to build their program’s future.
