Sandlot Merchants Rule the Rodney Fox Memorial

In Stevens, PA, The Sandlot Merchants put on a clinical performance to capture the Rodney Fox Memorial title. Navigating a competitive 7-team bracket, the Merchants proved unstoppable in the winner’s bracket:

  • Opening Round: A dominant 11-0 shutout against PA Storm.
  • Winner’s Semis: A gritty 9-2 victory over Precise.
  • Winner’s Finals: Edge-of-your-seat 9-1 statement over Team 518.
  • Championship Sunday: Sandlot closed the deal out of the winner’s bracket with a final Sunday victory to secure the trophy and solidify their status as a major threat on the road to the World Tournament.

Toronto Batmen Strike Gold at Ontario Eliminations

Over at the JDT First Energy Veterans Memorial Fields in Melbourne, ON, the Toronto Batmen asserted their dominance at the Ontario Eliminations Tournament.

  • The Gold Medal Game: The Batmen put together an incredible performance to defeat Bear Creek Express 5-1, earning the championship banner. Tournament MVP honors went to the Batmen’s own Denny Benson.
  • The Bronze Medal Game: Waterdown Hammer edged out the Toronto Junior Batmen 3-2 in a tightly contested matchup. Waterdown’s Clayton Robinson took home Top Pitcher honors for his stellar work on the rubber over the weekend.

South of the border, the 2026 Tijuana Fastpitch Tournament delivered electric energy as an official ISC World Tournament Qualifier. In front of an incredibly passionate crowd in Baja California, Maquinando López caught fire to claim the championship title, stamping their authority on the region and booking an important piece of their ISC summer puzzle.

Broken Bow Blazers Conquer the Stampede City Stomp

Up in Calgary, AB, the Broken Bow Blazers put on an absolute clinic to capture the tournament crown at the Stampede City Stomp. The Blazers completely controlled the diamond during round-robin play with an explosive offense, rolling through their schedule undefeated:

  • Friday Night Lights: Handed the Calgary Jays a 9-4 loss.
  • Saturday Morning: Kept the momentum rolling by cruising past the Calgary Ravens 11-2.
  • Saturday Midday: Put exclamation point on the round robin with a dominant 11-1 victory over the Calgary Pirates.
