Is Your Team In? Defending Champions, the Host Team and Australian Team Head to Saskatoon in 2027

Saskatoon, SK — Nine months before the first pitch, the field for the 2027 ISC World Tournament, August 14–21 at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex, is taking shape. Three World Tournament teams already stand out, and there is still room for yours.

Hill United Chiefs: the champions are back

The Hill United Chiefs return to defend their title. In 2026 they won their third straight ISC World Championship, beating their rivals the Bear Creek Gremlins, and in 2027 they bring another very strong roster back to the ISC circuit. As (3 time) defending champions, they have qualified directly for the 2027 World Tournament.

Saskatoon Jacks: the home team

The Saskatoon Jacks are the host team for the 2027 World Tournament. Built mostly on homegrown Saskatoon talent, they are poised for a great 2027 in front of their own fans.

Want to follow their road to the World Tournament? The Saskatoon Jacks team page shows which tournaments they will play this season to get ready, including the Saskatoon Jacks ISC World Qualifier, June 18–20 at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex.

Blue Sox United: from Sydney to Saskatoon

Blue Sox United from Sydney, Australia, will come to Saskatoon with some of Australia’s finest ball players. The last Australian team at the World Tournament was not long ago: the Southside Stingers played in North Mankato, MN, in 2025 and in 2024 the Sydney Tropics won the ISC II tournament in Surrey, BC.

The ISC is currently in talks with other international teams about joining the 2027 World Tournament. Is your international team interested? Reach out to Tournament Director Rich Haldane.
