The International Softball Congress (ISC) Board of Directors has officially approved the addition of a new Legends 60+ division to the schedule for the upcoming ISC World Tournament at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex in Saskatoon, SK.
The new 60+ tournament is scheduled to run from Saturday, August 14 through Monday, August 16. To move forward, the division will require a minimum field of 6 teams.
“Adding a 60+ division is a major step forward for the ISC World Tournament,” said Rich Haldane, ISC Vice President of World Tournament. “Over the past several years, we’ve received consistent feedback requesting a division tailored for this age group. With a world-class venue like the Gordie Howe Sports Complex, we have the capacity and facilities to welcome back these legends of the game.”
The move builds on the immense popularity of the ISC Legends program. During the 2026 ISC Legends 50+ Tournament, 15 teams from across North America competed at a fierce level, with a significant number of players already age 60 or older.
Keith Erkenbrack, ISC VP USA and Legends Tournament Director, expressed strong enthusiasm for bringing this inaugural division to Saskatoon:
“With the level of competition in our 50+ division remaining at an all-time high, creating the 60+ division allows us to bring back even more veteran players, giving them a dedicated platform to compete while fully enjoying the atmosphere of the ISC World Tournament.”
