Kelowna May Days Tournament Schedule Announced

The diamond at King Stadium is about to heat up as some of the premier men’s fastpitch teams in North America descend on Kelowna for the 2026 Kelowna May Days. Running from May 15–18, this official ISC Qualifier offers more than just local bragging rights—it’s a crucial stepping stone toward the 2026 ISC World Tournament in Melbourne, Ontario, this August.

The World’s Best in Our Backyard

The talk of the tournament is undoubtedly the arrival of the Hill United Chiefs. Currently ranked as the #1 team in the world, the Chiefs bring a roster stacked with international superstars and a reputation for dominance. Fans in Kelowna will have a front-row seat to world-class pitching and explosive offense as the Chiefs look to solidify their status as the favorites heading into the world championships.

Tournament Format & Key Matchups

The six-team field is split into two pools, leading into a high-stakes playoff bracket:

  • Pool A: Prince George River Kings, Saskatoon Jacks, Sooke Loggers
  • Pool B: Kelowna Titans, Hill United Chiefs, Broken Bow Blazers

The action kicks off Friday night at 6:00 PM with a “David vs. Goliath” showdown as the Kelowna Titans take on the Hill United Chiefs. Saturday features a full slate of pool play starting at 9:00 AM, with the first round of the playoffs beginning under the lights at 6:00 PM.

The Road to Melbourne

The stakes couldn’t be higher. This qualifier is a vital opportunity for these teams to fine-tune their rosters before the ISC World Tournament, held August 8–15 at the JDT First Energy Veterans Memorial Fields in Melbourne, ON.

“Bringing the #1 team in the world to King Stadium is a testament to the strength of fastpitch in the Okanagan,” says Rich Haldane. “This is the highest level of softball you will see.”
