Championship Saturday Dominance
Faced with a grueling schedule on Championship Saturday, Hill United needed big-time playmakers to step up. Villalvazo answered the call twice in a single day:
- Semi-Final vs. Bear Creek Express: With a spot in the championship game on the line, Villalvazo sparked the Chiefs’ offense. He went 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBIs, powering Hill United to a dominant 7-0 victory.
- Championship Final vs. Bear Creek Gremlins: Going up against the previously undefeated Gremlins, Villalvazo proved clutch yet again. He put together a stellar 2-for-3 performance, hitting a home run, driving in 2 RBIs, and scoring a crucial run to seal a thrilling 4-3 victory for the title.
When his team needed him most, Villalvazo produced back-to-back multi-hit, multi-RBI games against two of the tougher pitching staffs in the game.
