Honoring the Legends: Nominations Open for the 2027 ISC Hall of Fame

The history of the International Softball Congress is written by the players, coaches, and administrators who have poured their hearts into the game. As we look forward to the 2026 ISC World Tournament in Melbourne, ON, it is time to identify the next class of legends to be immortalized in the ISC Hall of Fame at the 2027 ISC World Tournament in Saskatoon, SK.

The Road to Saskatoon 2027

While the 2026 season is just around the corner, the Hall of Fame selection process begins early to ensure every candidate is given the consideration they deserve. The Class of 2027 will be officially inducted during the World Tournament in Saskatoon, a city with a rich softball tradition that provides the perfect backdrop for honoring our game’s greats.

Nomination Categories & Criteria

To maintain the prestige of the Hall of Fame, nominees must meet specific qualifications in one of the following categories:

  • Players: Must have played in at least five ISC World Tournaments and met specific All-World selection thresholds;
    a) 2 times First Team All World, orb) 4 times Second Team All World, or
    c) 1 time First Team All World with 2 times Second Team All World Players must be inactive for three years or have reached their 45th birthday.
  • Managers/Coaches: Must have managed or coached in at least 10 ISC World Tournaments.
  • Administrators: Requires at least 15 years of service with the ISC and a demonstrated commitment to the game.
  • Umpires: Requires at least 10 years of service at the ISC World Tournament.
  • Bob Welby Memorial Recognition of Service: Honors those who have contributed extraordinary energy and resources to support ISC fastpitch.

Note: Selection is based not only on records and ability but also on integrity, sportsmanship, and character.

How to Nominate

The ISC welcomes nominations from any interested party. To submit a nomination, you must provide:

  1. A Completed Nomination Form: Available on the ISC Website here.
  2. A Detailed Resume: Include the nominee’s career stats, achievements, and ISC history.
  3. Letters of Support: Two letters of recommendation outlining why the candidate is deserving of this honor.

Deadline: May 1, 2026

The deadline for the 2027 induction class is May 1, 2026.
